ECG RES Investment LLC, an affiliate of Equilibrium Capital (eq-cap.com), is a Member of RES. Damon Yuzon, a Principal of Equilibrium Capital, is a Member of the RES Board of Managers.

Equilibrium Capital Group is a platform of asset managers and strategies focused in the areas of water, distributed energy, agriculture, integrated land management, low carbon transportation, and housing/built environment. Equilibrium invests in and builds asset management firms. They are investors, shareholders and operating partners in the investment company and its general partnerships. Equilibrium looks for asset managers that have built their investment strategies on unique insights in the way these macro sustainability trends translate into investment opportunities in specific basic commodities, industries, and asset types.

Damon Yuzon joined Equilibrium Capital Group in 2010 as a Principal and works with Equilibrium’s portfolio of asset managers. He leverages over 15 years of commercial real estate development/financing and capital markets expertise. Prior to Equilibrium, he was the Vice President – Finance for Williams & Dame Development (WDD), whose visionary residential and mixed used developments include Portland’s South Waterfront District and Los Angeles’ South Park District. During his tenure, Damon focused on structuring and sourcing capital for WDD projects raising over $1.6 billion of equity and debt from 2003 to 2010. Prior to joining WDD, Damon was a Vice President at Needham & Company and project leader for the Needham Portland office where he completed more than 25 financings and advisory transactions valued at nearly $2 billion in various technology sectors. He has also worked as a corporate business development analyst with Mentor Graphics and as a senior equity research analyst at Black & Company (now part of Wells Fargo Securities). Damon earned an MS in Industrial Administration (MBA) from the Krannert Graduate School of Management at Purdue University and a BS in Finance from the University of Oregon. He is also a CFA charterholder.
